SAIBPP is a leading national voluntary professional association representing +2 500 members from the property sector and the built environment. SAIBPP was established in 1996 to address the under-representation of black people in the commercial property industry.
SAIBPP was founded in 1996 and is a registered B-BBEE Level 1 non-profit/social benefit company. SAIBPP is a voluntary professional association comprised of members from the property sector and the built environment. Our primary objective is to drive transformation in the property sector through policy advocacy, education and training and enterprise support and development. SAIBPP is led by its CEO Mrs Vuyiswa Ramokgopa, with the support of an experienced board of directors from the property industry and built environment, committee members, and office staff.

About

The SAIBPP100 is a digital magazine that showcases leading black captains of industry in the property sector and built environment. This campaign aims to shine a light on Black businesses and individuals that have significantly contributed to our sector and continue to lead in their respective areas. The 2023 edition will be the second edition of the SAIBPP100.


There is a need to create an environment where existing black property entrepreneurs are well known and recognized by government, private business and civil society. The recognition of black property entrepreneurs and professionals will establish trust between them and potential clients, with government being the most powerful purchaser of their services and expertise.

Calls for nominations of black property leaders and rising stars are now open for the public until the 30th of June 2023, 12:00pm. The nomination process will culminate in a prestigious nominees' gala dinner event that will be attended by the 100 final nominees and key industry leaders.

The SAIBPP100 Gala Dinner

The SAIBPP100 publication will be accompanied by a high end and prestigious dinner where the Top 100 property and built environment leaders profiled in the publication will be recognized and celebrated by SAIBPP's members, distinguished guests and other industry leaders. The dinner will take place on the last day of the 2023 Annual Convention, concluding our theme of putting Transformation In Action.

Can I nominate myself to be part of the SAIBPP100?


All candidates must be nominated by someone else in the general public as confirmation of the impact of the nominee's work.


What is the deadline for nominating candidates?


The last day to nominate a candidate is the 30th ofJune 12pm. 


Which industry must a nominee be in?


The nominee can be in the property and built environment industry. Their work can range from being a property developer, to an corporate executive, asset management(within the property sector) and other fields related to the property industry. 


How will nominees be contacted?


You can kindly leave the contact details of the nominee on the nomination form ​and our team will contact the prospective candidate during the adjudication process
